To say that I was freaked out would be an understatement. I logged onto my admin page and everything looked fine. I went to my blog site and it was not showing my home page! Along with all my posts! *AGH!* I was so worried that I had messed something up when I upgraded my WordPress. I sent out a plea on Twitter and @wishfulme and @sunflowermommie came to my rescue! I am so incredibly grateful! It ended up just being a bad plugin. (Well, not bad, just not compatible with WP 3.0) All is back to normal now!
I’ve been way behind on all things blog this week. But I have good reason. I am spending these last few days with my amazing husband before he leaves for deployment. I may not be on here for a while. So much going on. So many emotions. I need lots of prayers and encouragement. Advice for dealing with deployment would be helpful as well!
I can’t think of anything else to say that won’t bring tears to my eyes. Please keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers this next few days.
Nothing is worse than a disappearing blog. All that hard work and suddenly you can’t even find a word.
Enjoy the time you have left with Hubby. Thoughts and prayers. We appreciate everything he is doing.
Yeah for @sunflowermommie and lots of prayers your way!
I hate when things aren’t compatible and you can’t figure it out till after the panic attack has hit. Glad it’s figured out.
How do you like WP? I’ve been kinda thinking of switching but scared to. lol
Oh my gosh, I LOVE IT!!! It took me a while to figure things out, but now it’s so much easier for me than Blogger was. LOVE!
Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest! Sorry to hear your husband is depoying. That’s got to be hard! Hang in there!
Thanks. It is hard, but my God is an awesome God and He will help me through this.
Sending you prayers and positive thoughts your way. My brother deployed about a week ago, so I have a sense as to how difficult this time is for you. Wishing you and your husband all the best and that the time apart goes by quickly.

Word Press drama is the worst!! A couple of weeks ago, my header disappeared and it took me all afternoon to fix it and it still isn’t quite right! Gotta love it! I’m stopping by from SITS.
Hi,
I really like your blog. I am a casting director for a docu-reality series sponsored by the USO about military families with loved ones stationed overseas. I’d love if you would submit to be on the show. If you, or someone else you know, might like to be on the series, or if you just want some more information please go to http://WWW.ROADTOREUNION.COM
We are really trying to show the sacrifice, loyalty, and courage it takes to be a military family and can use your help.
Thanks!
Chris
Our oldest son has been to Iraq 4 times in eight years… but we’ve not seen him for the past 4½ years since being stationed up in WA and us down here in KS… and well, there is no money to travel. He may have to go back overseas again at some point. We are thankful, very thankful, for email. All I can tell you is we do lots and lots… and LOTS… of praying and leaning on the Lord. I’ll add you to our daily prayer list that we keep of military families we run across. We will say special prayers for you and your dear hubby, for the Lord to keep him safe and always guide his way while overseas. {hugz} to you, dear. 🙂
P. S. Visiting from SITS! 🙂 LOL! Of course I forgot to say that, huh!
