Halloween is a given that kids are going to eat candy. Most adults will too! There are some ways to cut back on the candy or to spread it out over time.
1. Let your kids choose one or two pieces of candy per day.
2. Have your kids donate some of their candy to a homeless shelter.
3. You and the kids can eat as much candy on Halloween night but then the rest goes away.
4. Give fruit instead!
Nothing is more horrifying than a Halloween without candy. Thankfully, there’s Crest and Oral-B. Using Crest Pro-Health Healthy Fresh Toothpaste, Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse, and the Oral-B Pro-Health All-in-One Toothbrush can provide up to 4x better plaque reduction with regular use vs. a regular manual toothbrush and regular anti-cavity toothpaste.
So even if you pig out and eat ALL of your kids’ candy (oops!) you can be worry-free about that candy hangover and keeping your healthy smile! I’m looking forward to having some girls over to enjoy our candy!!

Around here we pile all the candy into one bowl. It stays on top of the refrigerator for a week. Then pitched. I have no problem throwing out candy. Veggies/fruit and meat is a different story.
The kids (who are very young) get to chose one piece after dinner each night. When they get older and can climb things might change.
That’s smart! I hate throwing away meat or veggies but I do a lot because I don’t cook much.
