Manicure Monday: Alaina
I started doing this series thinking I would do it once a week, but I have been too busy to paint my nails as much. So I am going to the first Monday of the month.
I have been searching for years for the perfect neutral nail polish for my skin tone. They are usually too white or gray looking. Sometimes they even look green or yellow on me.
Then I found Alaina. It is the closest I have found to a neutral nail polish that doesn’t look gross on my nails. I am thrilled with this color! Here’s the description from the Julep website.
Color description:Driftwood taupe crème.
I love this color! It covered my nails in one coat and is so creamy. Which is, of course, my favorite. It’s not too gray or too brown. Not green or yellow. Just the perfect neutral. LOVE!
I normally love the brighter nail polish colors, but this one just calls out to me. I’ve used it several times already. And of course, I used the Be Strong Nail Treatment as a base coat and the Freedom Polymer Top Coat.
BE A MAVEN!
On my first Manicure Monday post, I shared about becoming a Maven subscriber and getting a fun box of Julep nail polish every month. If you haven’t already, make sure you check it out! You can get great discounts and even FREE products! I love this program so much that I had to share it with you.
Do you like neutrals or brighter colors better?
