This is several weeks late, but better than never! I wanted to share about my experience in Atlanta and the Thirty-One National Conference. It was such an amazing time! I was worried about physically being able to do all the walking I knew I would have to, but I took my time and it wasn’t as bad as I expected.
I stayed in a gorgeous hotel, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
I was in a room with 4 other girls. YES! There were five women in one room! I had taken my twin size air mattress and I slept on that the whole time. The good thing about it was that I didn’t have to share the bed! Hehe. It was great, though. I had even bought a bedding set for the air mattress. Here is a pic of the air mattress made up in my closet. (what my Aunt calls her “room” at our house! We took this pic just for her!)
So the day we got there was basically registration day for us. The Directors and above in the company had sessions all that day. My goal is to be a Director before conference next year! We checked into the hotel and then we walked to the Georgia World Congress Center to get our registration packets. It was so great, when we walked up to the registration booth, the people working there CHEERED for us! It was so encouraging! Especially to me, since walking there was really hard on me. Here is what our registration packet had in it.
Why, YES that IS an Organizing Utility Tote in the new Spirit Purple! Heck yes! I was super excited to get this! I now use it as my “Office To Go”. It holds everything I need. And… IT’S PURPLE! What could be better? It had this stuff in it:
A keychain, pedometer, training book and our name tags with lanyards. I got a couple of the pins in my packet, but the rest we got at the general sessions. The general sessions were incredible! Especially the first one, which was the Product Reveal! Talk about exciting! 16,000 women screaming about new products and prints! I was incredible.
We also had training classes. I learned so much! I took pictures of most of the slides the speakers used, so I didn’t have to try to write everything down. I still need to go back through them and all my other training material. I want to put it all to use!
Now, all of this wouldn’t have been possible for me at all if it hadn’t been for my amazing Director! She introduced me to this amazing company and helped me go to Conference. I am forever grateful!
Here we are with 2 of my roommates, who are also on her team!
The second night we were there we had awards night. My director AND my executive director both got to walk across the stage for being promoted. Pretty cool. After the awards ceremony, we had our awards dinner. When we all walked into the room for that, all of the servers were lined up clapping and cheering for us! Again, incredible! This company takes their slogan seriously! “Celebrate, Encourage, Reward” Love it. Here is a group picture from our awards dinner.
There are a lot more pictures, so I’m just gonna do a gallery of them. Feel free to ask about them! I am also going to do another post to show all of the FREE products we got! I’m telling you, Thirty-One SPOILS its consultants!
Long story short, I had a blast. I can’t wait to go back next year and take my husband! My H.O.T. (Husband Of Thirty-One!). Next year is also the company’s 10th anniversary so I know conference is gonna be HUGE! So excited!
Have you ever been to anything like the Thirty-One National Conference? If so, let me know!
