Hello, Friends. I am so sorry that I haven’t posted anything in so long. It has been an extremely long 3 weeks. Here is a short update.
On June 1st, my Grandpa passed away. Just 8 weeks after Grandma. It was a shock to all of us, but at the same time, not that surprising. He hated living without her. Now they are together again forever, walking through heaven hand in hand.
It’s been hard. I am so thankful that my husband was home before this happened. I feel horrible because we didn’t go see Grandpa before he died. The last time we saw him was for Grandma’s funeral. It breaks my heart.
In happier news, my brother-in-law is getting married TOMORROW! We are in Seattle for his wedding and we are having so much fun. It’s GORGEOUS here! Love it. I have gotten to meet most of my husband’s family this week.
And lastly, but not least, Today is my Sister’s BIRFDAY!!!!! YAY!! Happy Birfday my beautiful sister Hannah!
I hope you are all doing great! I will be posting more now. Please keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!
My my you have been busy. First off I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your grandma and grandpa, but yes they are together so living alone would of been torture.. my dad was alone 3 years after my mom died and he really didn’t like being without her at all.
Yes Seattle is lovely today. I am here in Tacoma and the sun is finally out. Congratulations to your BIL. Also Happy Birthday to your sister. It must be fun meeting most of your husband’s family
We had a blast in Seattle. We were actually in Tacoma, right next to the
Tacoma Dome. I loved meeting his family! I had only met his brother and his
mom & stepdad before this weekend! Now I’ve met all but a few people in his
family.
And yes. My Grandpa was miserable without Grandma. They are happy together
again.
Wow it has been a crazy time for you. Sorry to hear about your grandpa, but so glad that he can now be with your grandma forever. Forever and young again.
Happy Wedding day to your brother-in-law and happy birthday to your sister!
Thanks Tamela!
