Nashville Burger Bonanza: 360 Burger
If you ask a group of Nashvillians where you can get the best burger in Nashville, you will get a bunch of different answers. There are so many places to get really awesome burgers. Since my husband is in culinary school to work towards his dream of owning a burger food truck, we have been going to local restaurants to try the burgers. I figured I should showcase some of our favorites in a series I’m calling Nashville Burger Bonanza.
360 Burger – Antioch, Tennessee
My husband saw this place a few months before we actually tried it. It’s in this strip shopping center off of the main road. I honestly don’t know how he saw it! He kept talking about it, so one night we finally went. Of course that night it was late and I was tired so I didn’t take any pictures. But the food was so good!
We liked it so much that we had to go back. This time, I did take pictures! I wanted to show you the menu because there are some strange options on there, but they WORK!
I got the Ol’ Smoky, which honestly, is one of the more basic options! This burger is “dripping with robust local BBQ sauce, smoked with local hickory wood, sharp cheddar cheese, whiskey-glazed onions and applewood-smoked bacon”. I’ve recently been really into the BBQ burgers. And I love that places around here use Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, which is local to Middle Tennessee. I also had the crinkle cut fries.
My favorite part of the burger was actually the beef! That is not always the case, but here it definitely was. According to their website, their burgers are “made with all grass-fed, certified Angus Beef, organic vegetables and served on a freshly-baked bun.” It was seriously the juiciest, most flavorful burger I’ve ever had! Yum! I thought it was funny, though, when I asked for mayonnaise, this is what they brought:
My sister got the Cilantro Avocado burger, which is “Certified, Grass-Fed Beef blended with a mixture of local organic cilantro and jalapeños topped with pepper jack cheese and freshly sliced avocados”.
I thought it looked pretty good, despite the jalapeños and pepper jack! (I don’t like spicy!) She really liked it, though. She also had the sweet potato fries, which is the ONLY way she will eat sweet potatoes!
Last, but not least (seriously!), my husband got the Pimento and Pig burger. I mean, this thing was HUGE! I had to take a picture of it stacked because they never look this good!
I can’t stand pimento cheese, so I wouldn’t try it. He loved it. Their website says “This beast is piled high with pimento cheese and applewood-smoked bacon”. Piled high for sure! He also got the crinkle cut fries since they are his favorite.
One thing I love about this place is their side options. You can choose from crinkle cut, waffle or sweet potato fries, onion rings, veggie sticks, steamed broccoli or organic sautéed veggies. That’s a lot of sides for a burger joint! They also serve sliders, wings, shakes and other desserts.
As for the burgers, you can choose from the Local Favorites, True Originals or build your own. The first time we went I got the Bacon Basil Pesto burger which is “your choice of protein with swiss, applewood-smoked bacon and local basil pesto aioli”. It was really, really good! My sister and my husband each got a different burger and then split them between the two of them. They got the “Farm Boy: breakfast on a bun –stack your breakfast burger with country ham, fried egg and maple cream cheese” and the “PBJ&O: Certified, Grass-Fed Beef burger smeared with peanut butter and raspberry-jalepeño jam, and smothered with whiskey-glazed onions and pepper jack cheese”. That was from the True Original menu!
Truly Local
360 Burger takes this wholeheartedly. From their website:
BURGERS. BEER. LIVE MUSIC.
The 360 Trinity. We have built our business on three things, and we challenge you to find a place that takes these things more seriously.
Along with the certified grass fed beef, they serve a wide range of beers, including several local draft beers and craft beers. Add to that the live music and you have an authentic Nashville burger joint.
If you’re ever in Nashville and want to get a good feel for the city, check out 360 Burger.
Would you be brave enough to try the PBJ&O Burger?
I did not receive anything for writing this post. These opinions are purely mine. Simply because I love my city and it’s food!
